OUTSTANDING SUCCESS OF ANNE-MARIE’S STUDENTS TO DATE INCLUDES:
2021: Student Cuan Durkin invited by Navy Exchange (USA) to perform a medley of songs at a #JamsForFreedom virtual concert (2nd July) and subsequent Christmas concert #WeBelieveHoliday virtual concert (19th December). As a rising star on social media, vocal engagements followed as well as in person television interviews in the USA (December).
2020: Recent television appearances of my student Cuan Durkin on the following programmes: RTÉs New Year’s Eve Countdown Show (31st December 2020), RTÉ 1 The Today Show (21st October 2020), RTÉ Six One News and RTÉ News: Nine O’Clock (19th October 2020) with the headline “Dublin busker lands leading role in online panto” … Cuan will perform the part of Prince Charming in Cinderella alongside Harry Potter star Chris Rankin in December.
Multiple prize winners (including TWENTY First Prize Winners*) at the prestigious Electric Ireland Dublin Feis Ceoil for solo and duet singing.
Consistent top marks in leaving-certificate and junior-certificate music state examinations (practical and written).
Television appearances on RTÉ and TG4 in solo singing include: The Late Late Toy Show (2019) and (2015), Service on Sunday (2015), Elev8 (2011) and Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (2015).
Radio performances in solo singing includes RTÉ Lyric FM Classical Daytime and RT 1 Countrywide – Special Christmas Edition (2011).
Multiple solo performances from The Snowman (Blake) at the National Concert Hall Dublin, University of Limerick Concert Hall and Bord Gáis Energy Theatre Dublin (2010 – 2013).
Students invited by Electric Ireland Dublin Feis Ceoil to perform two vocal duets at the National Concert Hall Dublin which showcased recent winners as part of the ESB Feis Ceoil Young Platform Series (2017).
Consistent top marks in Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) and Associated Board to the Royal Schools of Music (AB) vocal, piano and theory examinations.
Numerous Royal Irish Academy of Music High-Achiever Awards given to students obtaining Distinction in vocal examinations and subsequent performance at the High-Achiever Gala Concert held at the Royal Irish Academy of Music Dublin.
Multiple First Prize Winners at Feis Shligigh and Sligo Feis Ceoil every year for solo and duet singing.
X-Factor Finalists (2005).
Winner of Roscommon’s Got Talent Vocal Competition (2009).
Students have taken part in the Irish Youth Choir summer concerts.
Anne-Marie has successfully prepared students for university entrance examinations in music (practical & written). Many of these students are currently studying music at Trinity College Dublin, NUI Maynooth, University College Cork, University of Limerick, Guildhall School of Music and Drama London, CIT Cork School of Music, Royal Irish Academy of Music Dublin and DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama.
Leading roles performed locally in the following musicals: Guys ‘n Dolls, Hairspray, Annie, Chicago, Oliver, The Wizard of Oz, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Suisical the Musical, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Cats, Oklahoma, The King & I and Grease.
